History
| Personal History | Ezekiel “Zeke” Joseph Pride was born in the isolated colony of Minos Korva near the Cardassian border where he grew up during the conflicts of the Cardassians Wars. Growing up in the isolated colony taught Zeke the value of self-reliance, being able to do things for oneself. Zeke’s family had a long tradition of service in Starfleet, and Zeke was no different. He became adept at piloting the small craft that were vital to life in the isolated colony, all in training for hopefully joining Starfleet in the future. At Starfleet Academy, Zeke was put on the Command track. At the academy he learned the thrill of discovery and the wonders that were out there in space. During his career, he learned the value of service and the varied assistance Starfleet could offer to citizens of the Federation. On one mission, Zeke was required to take command of the away team when his commanding officer Toron Pax was taken ill during a first contact scenario, forcing Zeke to bring the situation to a resolution, establishing a firm friendship and respect between Toron and Zeke, and becoming the second officer on the Potemkin. |
